American Freedom Builders was founded to educate and advocate for constitutional principles of limited government and free market economic solutions. We firmly believe in the axiom that less government equals more freedom.
Our day-to-day mission is to advance the cause of freedom on three fronts:
Personal and Economic Freedom - We will fight to limit the growth of government at the state AND federal level. Less government intrusion allows free individuals to achieve their economic dreams and pursue individual happiness. Our Founders envisioned a limited federal government and the incessant growth of the federal governments has stifled individual liberty and economic prosperity. Many of our nation’s politicians have sacrificed American’s founding principles for power and personal gain and have consequently embraced a nanny-state agenda that has sharply increased the role of government rules and regulations in our lives and attacked the very economic foundation that employs American workers and their families.
Educational Freedom - We will fight for an education system that empowers parents with the freedom to choose the best educational environment for their child. We fundamentally support the notion of school choice and believe all children have the right to pursue their God-given potential. All children regardless of zip code or income level, should be provided with the opportunity to receive the finest education possible, whether it be in a traditional public school, public charter school, virtual learning, private school, home school or blended learning environment. When parents have decision-making power and good information, they can hold schools accountable and find the best fit for their child. Our parents and children need the freedom to choose an education that meets their unique needs and we will fight for that freedom ever day!
Energy Freedom - We will fight to restore sanity and free market ideas to energy policy in the United States. The increasing regulatory burden from the federal government and the EPA has increased our demand for energy from foreign sources. To be energy independent, we must rely on private sector research to develop the next generations of fuels and fuel efficiency technology and we must lift the overly restrictive regulations on domestic energy production. Our businesses and families need to have access to affordable energy and we will work to implement responsible and common-sense policies in Congress.
